Leitlinien der Ergotherapie – Kanadische Leitlinie mit vielen Neuerungen

Abstract
Der kanadische Ergotherapieverband hat im Frühjahr 2022 seine zehnte Leitlinie veröffentlicht. Es ist meines Erachtens ein politisches Buch, das Ergotherapeut*innen dazu auffordert, kritisch mit der eigenen Positionierung sowie Annahmen über Betätigungen umzugehen. So überrascht es nicht, dass die Publikation systemische Diskriminierung beispielsweise durch Ableismus, Sexismus und Rassismus als Determinante für Gesundheit, Wohlbefinden und Betätigung betrachtet. Mit dem neuen Inhaltsmodell Canadian Model of Occupational Participation (CanMOP) und dem Prozessmodell Canadian Occupational Therapy Inter-Relational Practice Process Framework (COTIPP) stellen die mehr als 40 Autor*innen unter anderem die begleitende Rolle von Ergotherapeut*innen auf Mikro-, Meso- und Makroebene vermehrt in den Fokus. Die neue Ausgabe rückt von den Darstellungen des CMOP-E ab – so wird zum Beispiel die Einteilung von Betätigung in die Bereiche Selbstversorgung, Produktivität und Freizeit verworfen. Das Prozessmodell besteht weiterhin aus 6 Schritten, die offener als das CPPF im Ablauf gestaltet sind. Die Autor*innen betonen, dass Anwender*innen des COTIPP verstehen müssen, wie notwendig es ist, Ergotherapie zu dekolonialisieren, um bestehende Machtverhältnisse aufzubrechen. Um „Dekolonialisierung“ beginnend zu verstehen, lohnt es sich, u. a. in den Auszug der Keynote-Ansprache von Ramugondo beim WFOT-Kongress 2018 zu schauen: bit.ly/WFOT-2018. Meiner Meinung nach kann jede Zielgruppe vom Lesen dieses Buches profitieren. Leichter fällt es vermutlich denjenigen, die sich bereits mit ergotherapeutischen Modellen und Theorien wie Betätigungsgerechtigkeit und diskriminierungssensible Arbeit auf unterschiedlichen Ebenen auseinandergesetzt haben.
