Abstract
La création et le développement des écoles immersives puis des filières bilingues breton-français depuis une quarantaine d’années a entraîné un gigantesque travail lexicologique afin de donner au breton, langue jusqu’alors à peine enseignée, la capacité d’être elle-même un vecteur performant d’enseignement.La matière enseignée en breton dans toutes ces classes étant l’histoire-géographie, des manuels ont été traduits en breton pour les collèges.Comment le choix des manuels à traduire a-t-il été fait ? Quel est le processus d’édition pour ce genre d’ouvrages ? Une ligne éditoriale a-t-elle été adoptée en ce qui concerne la langue proprement dite et, si oui, a-t-elle connu des modifications sensibles d’un ouvrage à l’autre ?Comment enseignants et élèves utilisent-ils ces ouvrages ? En sont-ils satisfaits ? Quelles difficultés linguistiques rencontrent-ils et comment les surmontent-ils ? De quelles propositions sont-ils porteurs ?
