Abstrak
 Penelitian ini menciptakan satu ciptaan berupa e-book berbasis saintifik pada materi siklus hidup hewan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Jenis riset ini yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek riset ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Kebon Baru 09. Adapun data yang diperoleh dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan observasi. Responden dalam riset ini adalah ahli desain instruksional, ahli materi, ahli linguistik dan siswa kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kelayakan e-book berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan persentase sebesar 96,25% dari ahli desain instruksional, 88,75% dari ahli materi, dan 92,5% dari ahli lingusitik pada kategori “sangat baik”. Hasil uji coba kepada siswa melalui penilaian perorangan sebesar 91,25% dan penilaian kelompok kecil sebesar 98,52% pada kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan penilaian dari para ahli dan uji coba kepada siswa maka disimpulkan bahwa e-book berbasis pendekatan saintifik ini sangat memadai digunakan sebagai bahan ajar tambahan IPA materi siklus hidup hewan bagi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar
