A importância da atenção primária no manejo e erradicação da hanseníase: uma revisão integrativa

Abstract
Introdução: A hanseníase é uma doença que se manifesta como um problema de saúde e os serviços de Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) têm um papel fundamental para a redução da carga da doença. O objetivo deste estudo é identificar na literatura científica a importância da atenção básica no controle da hanseníase e analisar os fatores que influenciam nesse processo. Materiais e métodos: Trata-se de um estudo de revisão integrativa que foi delineado a partir dos critérios estabelecidos no guia Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). O levantamento dos artigos foi realizado nas seguintes bases de dados: Google Acadêmico, Pubmed/MEDLINE,LILACS, Scielo. Na busca inicial foram encontrados 43 artigos. Após aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão e leitura na íntegra, selecionou-se 16 artigos científicos, publicados entre 2010 e 2021. Resultados: De modo geral os trabalhos retratam sobre as Ações do Controle da Hanseníase (ACH) realizado pela APS, cabendo destacar que independente da metodologia da pesquisa, quando a APS realiza as ACH de forma efetiva, tem um impacto importante no controle da doença, caso contrário impacta negativamente. Conclusão: A descentralização das ACH para o âmbito da APS vem impondo a reorientação da prática da Estratégia de Saúde da Família (ESF), isto fortalece a política de controle da doença, ao facilitar o acesso ao diagnóstico e ao tratamento e principalmente a formação de vínculo com o paciente o que se tem uma melhora na adesão ao tratamento e acompanhamento da doença.
