Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

It seems a contradiction in terms.Even today, not everyone realizes that there are non-Roman Catholic Italians in Italy as well as in Canada. In fact, in the major Canadian metropolitan areas Italian Missions started before the turn of the twentieth century.Protestantism did not begin with Martin Luther.Indeed, it was in the year 1179 when Walter Map, an Englishman, representative of Henry II, a Canon of the Church and an official of Henry's court, met Peter Waldo in Rome. The Poor of Lyons movement was founded by Waldo in the city of Lyons, just ten years prior to that meeting.Walter Map watched "Waldo and a few of his followers arrive at the Council bare footed and dressed in coarse woolen clothes. They were brought before the enthroned Pope flanked by cardinals and bishops ceremonially robed."'Peter Waldo went to Rome with what he believed to be a great discovery: He found out that the Bible, the Word of God, was best doing what it was meant to be doing, if the people could read it in the language they were using every day."Waldo offered the Pope a copy of the translation of 'many of the books of both Testaments' into the dialect of Lyons -the first translation of the Bible into a local language. The Pope accepted it and embraced Waldo.""We can safely say that this was the first time that the

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
