Abstract
La « coconstruction », souvent citée comme une innovation du modèle québécois, réfère à un répertoire d’expériences impliquant le partage des ressources et du pouvoir dans l’élaboration des politiques entre les pouvoirs publics et les organismes communautaires (associations à but non lucratif). Or, il existe des biais de genre dans la mise en œuvre de cette « coconstruction » qui permettent aux milieux d’innover socialement. À partir d’un travail ethnographique réalisé en 2017-2018 (combinant des entretiens semi-dirigés avec des salariés et des salariées des organismes communautaires intervenant auprès des enfants et des familles ainsi que des observations dans les rencontres de concertation locale d’un quartier populaire de Montréal), cet article observe comment se partagent les responsabilités sociales, dans un contexte où une majorité de femmes, intervenantes, bénévoles et stagiaires, sont investies. En interrogeant l’usage du concept de « coconstruction » dans la fabrique des politiques sociales, il rend visibles le travail d’actrices du terrain et la dimension genrée de son organisation, qui sont des éléments encore peu documentés dans la littérature sur le travail social.
