O presente estudo verifica a produção científica que utiliza a nova sociologia econômica (NSE) de Granovetter nos estudos sobre empreendedorismo e inovação. Foi realizado um estudo bibliométrico, selecionando trabalhos da base Scopus, organizando-os em duas amostras: uma com trabalhos que enfocam o empreendedorismo e outra com trabalhos que enfocam a inovação, de modo a realizar análises comparativas entre os dois campos de estudo. Realizou-se também análise qualitativa de quatro principais artigos extraídos da amostra, para melhor visualização de uma agenda de pesquisa. A NSE de Granovetter dá ênfase nas relações entre os indivíduos, especialmente nas suas ações econômicas e organizacionais. Nos estudos de empreendedorismo e inovação, a abordagem discute os efeitos das relações interpessoais nas ações empreendedoras e nos processos de inovação, influenciando no comportamento econômico dos agentes. Como resultado da análise, este estudo aponta as principais referências, autores, países e redes de relacionamento. Além disso, esta pesquisa também contribui com sugestões para pesquisas futuras sobre a NSE na perspectiva de Granovetter nas temáticas do empreendedorismo e da inovação.
