Abstract
تبحث هذه الدراسة أحد الجوانب المهمة في فلسفة توماس ريد، وهو الجانب الأخلاقي، خاصة أنه لم يول اهتمامًا كافيًا؛ إذا قارناه بالاهتمام الذي أُولي لفكر العديد من الفلاسفة المُحْدثِين مثل لوك، وهيوم، وديكارت، وكانط، وغيرهم. ولهذا السبب جاءت هذه الدراسة. وتأتي أهمية دراسة الأخلاق عند توماس ريد بناءً على مذهبه الواقعي، وهو ما يتضح في أن فلسفته الأخلاقية لها طابعها الخاص؛ فهي فلسفة لا تتبع النهج العقلي أو النهج العاطفي، ولكنها تمزج بين النهجين بسبب ميزاتهما، وأفكارهما الجذابة. لذلك تتناول هذه الدراسة فلسفة توماس ريد الأخلاقية للكشف عن الإسهام الفلسفي الذي قدمه، والبحث عن الأطر الفكرية التي تخلقت فيها، وكذلك تتبع بدايات فلسفة ريد الأخلاقية وتطورها في كتاباته، وكتابات بعض الفلاسفة المعاصرين. ومن ثم تسعي الدراسة – اعتمادًا على المنهج " التحليلي النقدي " – إلى فحص فلسفة ريد الأخلاقية ودراستها، ومعرفة ما إذا كانت فلسفة ريد الأخلاقية مصنفة بوصفها فلسفة عقلية، أم أنها عاطفية، أم أن فلسفته فلسفة هجينة وغريبة؟ وهل يمكننا إتقان نظريته الأخلاقية من خلال معرفة الفئات التي يستخدمها الفلاسفة الحديثين والمعاصرين لشرح النظرية الأخلاقية. * 'توماس ريد Thomas Reid 1710-1796م فيلسوف إسكتلندي كان أستاذًا في جامعة جلاسكو. اشتهر بطريقته الفلسفية، ونظريته في الإدراك، وآثارها الواسعة على نظرية المعرفة، وبصفته مطورًا ومدافعًا عن نظرية العامل السببي للإرادة الحرة في هذه المجالات وغيرها، يقدم انتقادات مهمة لفلسفة لوك وبيركلي وهيوم. وهو معروف أيضًا بانتقاداته لرؤية لوك للهوية الشخصية ورؤية هيوم للسببية. قدم ريد أيضًا إسهامات مؤثرة في الموضوعات الفلسفية بما في ذلك الأخلاق، وعلم الجمال، وفلسفة العقل. تم العثور على إرث عمل توماس ريد الفلسفي في النظريات المعاصرة للإدراك، والإرادة الحرة، وفلسفة الدين، وعلى نطاق واسع في نظرية المعرفة. له ثلاثة كتب مذكورة؛ الأول «بحث في الفكر الإنساني على مبادئ الذوق العام» (١٧٦٣)، والثاني «محاولات في القوى العقلية» (1785)، (نظرية المعرفة) والثالث «محاولات في القوى الفاعلية» (1788) (علم النفس والأخلاق)، وهذان الكتابان تفصيل الكتاب الأول.
