<span lang="EN-US">Jaringan sosial merupakan salah satu dari tiga unsur modal sosial selain nilai dan kepercayaan (trust). Sebagaimana modal ekonomi, jaringan sosial sebagai bagian dari unsur modal sosial dapat dipertukarkan menjadi dukungan politik sebagaimana jaringan sosial Emil Dardak pada Pilkada Trenggalek tahun 2015. Emil Dardak sebagai bagian dari generasi muda memiliki jaringan sosial yang luas sebagai hasil dari interaksi sosial di masyarakat. Jaringan sosial tersebut terbentuk karena terbangun kepercayaan masyarakat kepada Emil Dardak. Kepercayaan masyarakat sendiri terbentuk dari hasil interaksi Emil yang mampu menunjukkan diri sebagai generasi yang memiliki integritas, memegang teguh tatanan nilai sebagaimana nilai yang dianut masyarakat Trenggalek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor penting jaringan sosial dalam pemenangan Pilkada Trenggalek pada tahun 2015.</span>
