Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan, kendala, upaya dalam melaksanakan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan (SMK) di PO MTS. Penelitian ini menggunakan 10 elemen SMK. Metode deskriftif kualitatif dengan penunjang data menggunakan instrumen, observasi, wawancara skala guttman. Nilai skala guttman sebesar 95% yang berarti melebihi 50% sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa data yang diperoleh selesai. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 8 elemen SMK yang telah diterapkan PO MTS, sedangkan elemen 9 dan 10 belum dilakukan. Pada penelitian ini telah mengusulkan desain elemen 9 dan 10 guna peningkatan SMK PO MTS. Desain disesuaikan dengan peraturan dan persyaratan PM 85 Tahun 2018 untuk mengatasi kendala dalam mengimplementasikan elemen tersebut.
