Depuis son introduction par H. M. Enzensberger, la notion de “factographie” s’est inscrite de façon subtile mais durable dans le champ de la littérature contemporaine. En effet, un nombre important d’auteur·ice·s actuel·le·s usent des archives, des procès-verbaux et des traces textuels prélevés dans des documents comme la matière première de leur écriture. Afin d’analyser le livre Objections : Scènes ordinaires de la justice (2022) du poète et historien Marius Loris Rodionoff, cet article pose en premier lieu les bases de l’héritage “factographique” du poète Charles Reznikoff et de la réception post-objectiviste française de son œuvre. Travail de terrain dans des tribunaux de grande instance, Objections met en lumière la réalité brutale des comparutions immédiates en France, en tant que dispositifs d’incarcération accélérée de l’État pénal. Le livre de Rodionoff est interprété dans sa manière de mettre à nu et de retourner le langage juridico-performatif contre lui-même. Dès lors, la question se pose : comment le poète peut-il témoigner, avec les matériaux qu’il prélève, de la violence des structures juridiques contemporaines et de la souffrance sociale qu’elle entretient ?
