Abstract
La radicalisation religieuse violente est un phénomène dynamique complexe, variant et préoccupant.Toutefois, l'apport et l'influence de la religion (ou du religieux) dans le phénomène de la radicalisation violente sont difficilement mesurables.La religion n'étant pas intrinsèquement radicale et violente, elle peut toutefois influencer le parcours d'un individu.Cet article propose de délimiter le phénomène de la radicalisation religieuse en présentant l'influence que peut avoir la religion dans le processus individuel de radicalisation.Dans un premier temps, la recherche expose les causes (internes et externes à l'individu) pouvant influer sur le processus de radicalisation religieuse violente.On en retient qu'il n'existe pas de modèle singulier, de raison fixe ou de caractéristique précise qui permettraient d'expliquer la tendance d'une personne à se radicaliser.Dans un second temps, l'article recense les approches permettant d'analyser le phénomène de la radicalisation violente : l'approche psychoaffective, les théories des mouvements sociaux, la théorie du cadrage, la théorie des choix rationnels, l'approche sécuritaire et l'approche interactionniste.
