El siguiente trabajo tiene como propósito analizar las experiencias de la labor de asesoramiento metodológico del proyecto Augustana en la Facultad de Lenguas Extranjeras de la Universidad de Oriente desde la dimensión extensionista. La investigación se sustenta en la metodología descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo y utiliza los métodos teóricos siguientes, inductivo-deductivo y analítico-sintético, en función del análisis del objeto de investigación, el proceso extensionista universitario. De los métodos empíricos se aplica la observación científica participante. El trabajo se desarrolló en diciembre del 2022 a marzo del 2023; obteniendo como principales resultados los siguientes: organización del intercambio cultural entre la universidad de Alberta y la Facultad de Lenguas Extranjeras, desde los subprocesos de la extensión universitaria; diseño de acciones de internacionalización en cada uno de los años de la carrera de Lenguas Extranjeras e inglesa y protocolo para el desarrollo de un concurso en saludo al Día del Idioma con la participación de ambas universidades. Existe un elevado estado de satisfacción de la Comisión de Extensión Universitaria sobre la asesoría metodológica que ofrece el asesor del Departamento de Extensión Universitaria
