Abstract
Objetivo: Este estudo descreve as percepções da pessoa acima de 50 anos sobre as demandas de sua casa, comunidade, finanças, saúde e transporte que possam influenciar o envelhecimento no lugar. Metodologia: Estudo exploratório, transversal e de abordagem qualiquantitativa. Foram entrevistados pessoas com 60 anos ou mais que viviam na comunidade. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio de entrevista com um roteiro estruturado sobre os dados sociodemográficos e um roteiro intitulado com “Meu plano de envelhecer no lugar”. O roteiro incluía questões sobre as necessidades pessoais, da residência, da saúde e bem-estar, das finanças pessoais, do transporte e a mobilidade na cidade, da interação na comunidade e participação social. Os participantes estabeleceram uma lista de prioridades e de ações que dependiam exclusivamente deles mesmos e/ou que precisava de ajuda e apoio. A análise de dados foi feita por meio da técnica de análise de conteúdo proposta por Bardin, 2011. Resultados: Foram entrevistados 20 sujeitos, doze mulheres e oito homens, de na faixa de 50 a 69 anos (n=10) e 70 a 80 anos (n=10) moradores da região noroeste de São Paulo. A maioria aposentados (n: 10), 09 moram com seus cônjuges e 06 com filhos e netos, oito participantes eram casados e 12 viúvos. As principais prioridades dos entrevistados referentes ao envelhecimento no lugar, estão no âmbito da saúde (n=11), família (n=6), finanças (n=3), viagens (n=3) e casa própria (n=2).
