Abstract
Résumé Objectifs L’objectif est d’évaluer la conformité de l’étape de stockage du circuit du médicament dans les unités de soins (UDS) et cliniques externes (CE) (service ambulatoire) d’un établissement hospitalier universitaire mère–enfant. Méthode Il s’agit d’une étude descriptive, observationnelle, transversale réalisée dans un centre hospitalier universitaire mère–enfant en 2019, puis 2022. Une grille informatisée standardisée a été utilisée et comprenait huit thèmes et 25 critères pour les UDS et sept thèmes et 19 critères pour les CE. Un test Chi-2 a été utilisé pour comparer les résultats des deux années à l’étude. Résultats En 2019 et 2022, respectivement, 19 UDS et 30 et 33 CE ont été auditées. La conformité globale était de 83 ± 17 % en 2019 et 77 ± 22 % en 2022 dans les UDS, et 84 ± 14 % en 2019 et de 83 ± 20 % en 2022 dans les CE. La conformité a été réduite significativement entre 2019 et 2022 pour quatre critères, notamment : 89 % (16/18) des UDS n’entreposaient pas de médicaments périmés en 2019, contre 53 % (10/19) en 2022 ( p = 0,029). Conclusion Le circuit du médicament est complexe et la sécurisation de certaines étapes du circuit et des soins passe par la conformité aux politiques et procédures. La tenue périodique d’un audit est essentielle au maintien de la conformité. À chaque audit, des pistes d’amélioration sont proposées. Un suivi plus régulier entourant ces pistes d’amélioration est souhaitable.
