Abstract
Recovering the stories from the field of the Quaker-sponsored relief organization commonly known as the China Convoy, from 1941 to 1951, took many unexpected turns in the six years from its conception to completion.It is based upon a diverse range of materials from public archival and pri vate papers held in Canada, the United States, Great Britain, and New Zealand.
