Abstract
Abordar esta temática en este año 2023 no es una tarea menor, en especial al tratarse de un aniversario redondo, lo que le da a la tarea un sentido particular, y la evocación y el análisis suponen un alto voltaje político. Estamos frente a los 50 años de los golpes de Estado en Uruguay y Chile, a los 59 del de Brasil y a 40 años de la recuperación de la Democracia en Argentina. Por tanto, analizar situaciones y circunstancias que vivieron las personas durante estos períodos traumáticos de la historia reciente del Cono Sur, no sólo se puede leer e inscribir desde la recuperación de las memorias, desde la visibilización de prácticas, estrategias, vivencias y experiencias; sino que, también es preciso insertarlas en los debates y conflictos que estas evocaciones producen en el presente. También hay poder en la acumulación de significantes, hechos, y símbolos forjados en décadas de investigación y estudio, que una vez más evidencian ese pasado que no pasa, -en palabras de la historiadora Patricia Flier siguiendo a los clásicos-, a la vez que vuelve a convocar a lxs sujetxs y actorxs para colocarlos en escena, social, política e históricamente. Por ello, en estos momentos se reproducen y actualizan antiguos conflictos sobre protagonismos, figuras de héroes y villanos, personalismos, escalas del dolor, sufrimientos, sacrificios y legitimidad de la palabra. Una vez más hay borramientos, y vemos fotografías de personas, grupos, agrupaciones, instituciones, organizaciones, en las que no se ubican de forma aleatoria, sino jerarquizada, claramente a partir del lugar de poder que detentan en el presente.
