A INSÔNIA DO CONHECIMENTO: REVELANDO A QUALIDADE DO SONO DE GRADUANDOS EM TEMPOS DE PANDEMIA

Abstract
INTRODUÇÃO: A COVID-19 é uma doença causada pelo vírus Sars-CoV-2 que, desde 2020, ocasionou a morte de milhões de pessoas no mundo, sendo decretada uma Emergência de Saúde Pública de Importância Internacional. Por conta disso, uma série de medidas a fim de postergar a disseminação desta doença foram adotadas. Entretanto, algumas dessas medidas, como o distanciamento social, acarretaram à população uma modificação do seu estilo de vida, como a redução da qualidade do sono. OBJETIVO: Analisar a qualidade de sono entre estudantes de graduação de uma universidade de cooperação internacional afro-brasileira na fase final da pandemia de COVID-19. MÉTODOS: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, com abordagem quantitativa, realizada entre janeiro e maio de 2023, por meio de questionário sociodemográfico associado ao Mini Sleep Questionnarie. Participaram do estudo 290 estudantes de graduação, regularmente matriculados, com idade igual ou superior a 18 anos da Universidade da Integração Internacional da Lusofonia Afro-Brasileira. A análise foi realizada por meio da frequência absoluta e relativa das variáveis. RESULTADOS: Percebeu-se que 52,1% eram do sexo feminino, 57,2% brasileiros, 8,6% solteiros, 82,8% sem filhos e 45,9% moravam com 3 a 4 pessoas no domicílio. Além disso, 82,1% dos estudantes apresentaram algum tipo de dificuldade do sono, sendo que 63,8% foram classificados como tendo dificuldade severa. CONCLUSÃO: Identificou-se indícios de que a qualidade do sono foi impactada de forma negativa pela pandemia de COVID-19.
