Abstract
Mr. Floatie Has Retired: Lessons Learned During Commissioning of a Greenfield Wastewater Treatment Plant in Victoria BCAbstractThe McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant (MPWWTP) in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, is a greenfield tertiary treatment plant that services the Capital Regional District. The MPWWTP was commissioned and brought into service in autumn 2020, replacing an existing preliminary treatment system. During the commissioning effort at MPWWTP, challenges were posed by the small plant footprint and compact design, combinations of treatment technologies, stringent regulatory compliance requirements, decentralized facilities for residuals handling and screening, and the tight timeline for startup and commissioning. These challenges incited fastpaced problem solving, collaboration, and real-time learning for the project team. The successful commissioning of the MPWWTP was a result of strategic planning, consistent and thorough communication, and practiced flexibility. Despite various hurdles, the project was delivered to the client on schedule, and the resulting lessons learned are widely applicable to future full-scale commissioning efforts. The McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, is a greenfield tertiary treatment plant servicing the Capital Regional District. Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
