Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari pengaruh pengamalan shalat lima waktu terhadap tingkat kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional pada siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Lhokseumawe sejumlah 32 orang. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling dari keseluruhan populasi. Kuesioner berjumlah 33 kuesioner, 19 kuesioner pengamalan shalat dan 14 kuesioner tingkat kecemasan. Uji validitas dilaksanakan di MTsN 1 Lhokseumawe didapatkan hasil, kuesioner pengamalan shalat lima waktu pada uji valid pertama dari 20 pernyataan 5 diantaranya tidak valid, pada uji valid kedua dari 5 pertanyaan 1 diantaranya tidak valid, item yang tidak valid tersebut kemudian di hapus dan peneliti susun kembali keseluruhan kuesioner berdasarkan urutan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang berisi 19 pernyataan pengamalan shalat lima waktu dan 14 pertanyaan tingkat kecemasan. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan langkah editing, coding, tabulating, prosessing, dan cleaning menggunakan sistem komputerisasi program SPSS versi 17. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pengamalan shalat lima waktu siswa berada pada kategori teratur sebanyak 22 responden (68,8 %) dan kategori tidak teratur sebanyak 10 responden (31,3%), tingkat kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional pada siswa berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 10 responden (31,3%), ringan yaitu 10 responden (31,3 %), tidak ada kecemasan yaitu 9 responden (28,1 %), dan berat 3 responden (9,4 %). Hasil analisis ststistik dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square menunjukkan p value = 0,002 < α = 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak yang berarti ada pengaruh pengamalan shalat lima waktu terhadap tingkat kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional pada siswa kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Lhokseumawe.
