PDF | Este trabalho tem como objetivo estudar e comparar o comportamento eletroquímico de revestimentos compósitos de zinco/talco e zinco/bentonita com e sem aplicação de um filme de silanos. Foram estudados revestimentos compósitos obtidos por eletrodeposição de zinco com a incorporação de partículas cerâmicas de talco e bentonita à matriz metálica. A aplicação dos filmes de xerogel foi realizada pela técnica de dip-coating a partir de um sol com adição de cério. A caracterização eletroquímica foi realizada por meio de ensaios de EIS, monitoramento do OCP e curvas de polarização. A morfologia dos revestimentos foi avaliada por MEV. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que os filmes de xerogel promoveram o aumento da Rp para todos os sistemas. No entanto, ficou também evidenciado que os filmes de silanos obtidos apresentaram descontinuidades.
