Abstract
ABSTRAK Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan penyakit degeneratif yang diperkirakan akan terus meningkat prevalensinya. Salah satu faktor penyebab utama kekambuhan pada DM disebabkan adalah ketidakpatuhan klien dalam menjalani program terapi pengobatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kepatuhan perawatan klien DM tipe 2 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pacar Keling Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah klien DM tipe 2 yang berkunjung di Puskesmas Pacar Keling Surabaya, besar sampel 15 klien yang dipilih dengan aksidental sampling. Variabel penelitian ini adalah kepatuhan klien dalam perawatan DM tipe 2. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan tabel distribusi frekuensi dan dianalisis secara deskripsi. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa setengahnya klien pada kleompok usia > 60 tahun patuh menjalani perawatan, sebagian besar klien berjenis kelamin perempuan patuh dalam menjalani perawatan, setengahnya klien dengan pendidikan SD dan SMA patuh menjalani perawatan, dan seluruhnya klien dengan lama menderita 5-7 tahun patuh menjalani perawatan klien diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Diharapkan klien DM lebih kooperatif dalam menjalankan program perawatan yang terdiri dari diit, olahraga, dan minum obat secara teratur sehingga kadar glukosa darah tetap terkontrol. Kata Kunci : Kepatuhan Perawatan Klien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II THE ADHERENCE TREATMENT OF CLIENTS DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE II IN PACARKELING COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER SURABAYA ABSTRACT Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a degenerative disease whose prevalence is expected to continue to increase. One of the main factors causing recurrence in DM is due to the client's non-compliance in undergoing treatment therapy programs. The purpose of this study was to determine the adherence to treatment of type 2 DM clients in the work area of the Paddy Keling Public Health Center Surabaya. This research uses a descriptive method. The population of the study was type 2 DM clients who visited the Puskesmas girlfriend Keling Surabaya, a large sample of 15 clients were selected by accidental sampling. The variable of this research is client compliance in the treatment of type 2 DM. Data collection using a questionnaire and data analysis using a frequency distribution table and analyzed by description. The results of this study found that half of clients in the age group > 60 years were obedient to treatment, most of the female clients were obedient in undergoing treatment, half of clients with elementary and high school education were obedient to treatment, and all clients with 5-7 years of suffering were obedient. undergoing treatment for type 2 diabetes mellitus clients. It is expected that DM clients are more cooperative in carrying out a treatment program consisting of diet, exercise, and taking medication regularly so that blood glucose levels remain under control.
