Abstract
Cakupan pelayanan KB pasca persalinan di Kabupaten Barito Selatan masih sangat rendah, Tahun 2021 tercatat ada 2080 ibu nifas, dan yang menggunakan IUD hanya (1,2%). Rendahnya pemahaman tentang kontrasepsi IUD membuat minat penggunaan alat Kontrasepsi IUD pasca persalinan sangat kurang. Mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan kontrasepsi IUD terhadap minat penggunaan alat kontrasepsi IUD pasca persalinan pada Ibu Hamil Trimester II dan III di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mengkatip, Kecamatan Dusun Hilir. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik melalui pendekatan cross sectional.Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mengkatip Kecamatan Dusun Hilir pada bulan April Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling yaitu ibu hamil Trimester II dan III yang bersediamenjadiresponden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, jumlah responden berjumlah 117orang. Analisa data menggunakan Uji Chi Square dan Pearson Chi Square. Hasil analisis uji chi-square diperoleh nilai p=0.00 maka dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara hubungan tingkat pengetahuan kontrasepsi IUD terhadap minat penggunaan alat kontrasepsi IUD pasca persalinan pada ibu hamil trimester II dan III. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh pula nilai OR=10.267 artinya responden dengan pengetahuan baik mempunyai peluang 10.267 kali untuk mempunyai minat yang tinggi menggunakan alat kontrasepsi IUD pasca persalinan dibanding responden dengan pengetahuan kurang. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara hubungan tingkat pengetahuan (p=0.00), pendidikan (p=0.02) dan paritas (p=0.03) terhadap minat penggunaan alat kontrasepsi IUD pasca persalinan pada ibu hamil trimester II dan III. Disarankan bagi tenaga kesehatan agar dapat lebih meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitasnya dalam memberikan penyuluhan atau pendidikan kesehatan khususnya mengenai kontrasepsi jangka panjang.
