Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract: Functional graded materials (FGMs) concept has been proposed from biomaterial, which could take advantage of desirable features of their constituent phases. For instance, if a ceramic and a metal are used as the base materials, FGM can merge the beneficial traits of ceramics such as heat resistance and anti-corrosion, with those of metal like strength and durability. Consequently, the consideration of which gradient law can induce the best performance and how the properties may be changed along the several functions had emerged and been studied in this research. Specifically, in aeronautic and astronautic application, materials need to bear extreme temperature gradient generated when spacecraft returns to earth. In this case, the temperature gradient can even reach approximately 1000C from the exterior to the interior of the aircraft. Since then, the performance of FGMs exposed to high temperature are considered in our work. With the aids of non-Fourier and Laplace transform, the thermalfunctional graded piezoelectric problem is converted into a system of singular integral equations with Cauchy kernels of the first kind and then solved numerically. The numerical results are verified under pure mechanical loading first. Then, the parametric study is performed and the numerical results of temperature response, electric displacement and stress intensity factors around the crack tips, are shown graphically to illustrate the effect of gradient law on FGMs properties.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
