Abstract
Desa Seletreng Kecamatan Kapongan Kabupaten Situbondo ialah suatu wilayah dengan geografis pesisir pantai. Kondisi semacam itu tentunya memberikan limpahan hasil laut yang kemudian secara tidak langsung akan memunculkan usaha rumahan pengolah hasil perikanan. Usaha yang ada masih berupa usaha rintisan rumahan atau baru melakukan produksi berskala kecil. Adanya usaha kecil atau UMKM yang baru terbentuk tentu memiliki beberapa permasalahan yang membutuhkan pendampingan dan penguatan. UMKM yang baru berdiri pada umumnya masih belum mempunyai legalitas, bahan baku utama yang berupa ikan yang telah dipilih hanya diperoleh pada musim tertentu, dan kurangnya kemampuan dalam aspek branding maupun digital marketing. Penguatan UMKM ini memiliki tujuan agar UMKM yang baru berdiri mampu bersaing dan berkualitas dengan cara 1) Pendampingan dalam pengurusan legalitas UMKM berupa Nomor Induk Berusaha, SPP-IRT, dan Sertifikasi Halal, 2) Inovasi bahan baku pengganti, 3) Pendampingan dan pelatihan dalam membranding produk dan digital marketing. Pengabdian yang dilakukan dalam program KKN UNEJ Membangun Desa (UMD) memiliki target capaian, yaitu UMKM yang telah mendapatkan pendampingan maupun penguatan dapat bersaing dan memiliki kualitas tinggi. Keberlanjutan juga menjadi sorotan serius agar UMKM dalam segi pemasaran dapat terus berjalan, yaitu dengan memberikan pelatihan terhadap pelaku usaha dalam pengoperasian market place.
