Abstract
Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah kader Sarisejaya memiliki: (1) pemahaman terkait potensi dan upaya dalam melestarikan budaya lokal Lubuklinggau; dan (2) keterampilan dalam membuat pencil box bambo dengan motif batik durian. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi dan demonstrasi. Pada kegiatan sosialisasi mitra diberikan berbagai pemahaman mengenai potensi wisata budaya Kota Lubuklinggau dan upaya dalam melestarikan budaya lokal Lubuklinggau. Selanjutnya, kegiatan demonstrasi dilakukan dengan mengajak mitra untuk praktik membuat pencil box bamboo menggunakan motif batik durian. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini, maka diperoleh tingkat pemahaman peserta terhadap materi yang disampaikan oleh narasumber adalah baik sekali dengan persentase sebesar 76%, sedangkan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh peserta secara keseluruhan mencapai 78,6. Untuk tingkat keterampilan kader sarisejaya dalam membuat karya pencil box bamboo termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali dengan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan adalah 85,02. Adapun luaran yang dihasilkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu publikasi artikel di Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat.
