Abstract
La prĂŠsente publication est consacrĂŠe aux relations franco-tchèques de deux importants francophiles de la fin du 19e et de la première moitiĂŠ du XXe siècle, aujourd’hui un peu tombĂŠs dans l’oubli. Elle se fonde sur l’ĂŠtude des sources ĂŠcrites conservĂŠes dans les archives tchèques (patrimoines personnels, correspondances, journaux, photographies, etc.) et sur l’ĂŠtude de livres conservĂŠs dans les bibliothèques de Prague et de Paris (exemplaires signĂŠs par l’auteur et donnĂŠs aux amis tchèques et français, exemplaires lus et annotĂŠs par des possesseurs connus, etc.). L’ĂŠtude tente d’attirer l’attention sur des documents rarement ĂŠtudiĂŠs qui peuvent apporter de nouvelles connaissances à la fois sur la biographie des personnalitĂŠs nommĂŠes, sur l’ĂŠpoque à laquelle elles ont vĂŠcu et crĂŠĂŠ, ainsi que sur le milieu social et culturel au dĂŠveloppement duquel elles ont participĂŠ.
