Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang perancangan Pusat Pelatihan Olahraga di Tanjung Pinang dengan fokus pada pemfasilitas atlet berketerampilan menengah dalam bidang olahraga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan alternatif desain bangunan yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan latihan atlet, memberikan kenyamanan, dan berstandar nasional. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung terhadap tapak. Hasil perancangan menghasilkan pusat pelatihan olahraga yang memiliki fungsi ganda: sebagai tempat latihan dan penerapan pengetahuan ilmiah dalam meningkatkan prestasi olahraga. Pusat ini dilengkapi dengan divisi Sport Science and Research yang menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan seperti kepelatihan, biomekanika, psikologi, dan gizi. Divisi Research bertanggung jawab atas penelitian yang meningkatkan prestasi olahraga, termasuk program latihan, manajemen cabang olahraga, dan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan. Fasilitas pusat pelatihan ini mencakup lapangan dalam ruangan (indoor) untuk olahraga basah dan kering, serta lapangan terbuka (outdoor) untuk sepakbola dan atletik lari. Pusat pelatihan ini merupakan langkah dalam pengembangan fasilitas olahraga di Tanjung Pinang dengan pendekatan arsitektur modern dan kontemporer berstandar nasional dan internasional. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perancangan Pusat Pelatihan Olahraga di Tanjung Pinang dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi atlet untuk meraih prestasi dalam bidang olahraga. Pusat ini tidak hanya menjadi tempat berlatih, tetapi juga menjadi pusat penelitian dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan olahraga.
