Dans un contexte exceptionnel, nous accueillons, dans ce numéro de notre revue, les travaux de recherche d’un groupe, international et francophone, de chercheurs en Education de 8 pays et de 4 continents qui s’est mis en place en 2020. Ce groupe, ouvert, identifié par l’acronyme EDRAC (Education, Recherches et Actualités) est au départ composé d’experts de 4 continents : Antonio Alanis Huerta, CAMM Morelia (Mexique), Florentin Azia, Université Pédagogique Nationale, Kinshasa (RDC), Lise Bessette, UQAM (Canada), Marilene Corrêa, UFAM (Brésil), Sylvie Didou Aupetit, CINVESTAV (Mexique), Louis Marmoz, (UVSQ, France), Georges Nahas, Université Saint-Joseph (Liban), Georges Stamelos, Université de Patras (Grèce), Mathias Szpirglas, Université Gustave Eiffel (France) et V. Attias-Delattre Université Gustave Eiffel (France), présidente de l’AFIRSE et responsable de la coordination scientifique du projet. Les membres du groupe EDRAC ont initié différentes actions collectives de recherche : l’organisation d’un forum international « Visions et Illusions du Virtuel en Période de Confinement » (juin 2020) et d’un symposium » (janvier 2021). Ces actions ont été réalisées en distanciel sous la forme de débats de discussions entre les membres du groupe EDRAC et les participants. A partir de novembre 2020, en liens avec le projet de l’UNESCO L’éducation du futur, le groupe EDRAC a coordonné une contribution sur l’Enseignement Supérieur du Futur. Ce travail a permis de réunir des études, des présentations de recherches et des compte-rendu d’expériences concernant l’Enseignement supérieur francophone. Il s’agissait alors de produire et d’articuler des réflexions, pas encore des travaux de recherche au sens traditionnel du terme.
