A pesquisa realizada teve como objetivo fazer um levantamento sobre os estudos realizados no Brasil acerca do racismo religioso estrutural presente na educação pública, com foco específico no Currículo Paulista. Utilizamos o Catálogo de Dissertações e Teses da CAPES como fonte de pesquisa para os estudos desenvolvidos no período de 2017 a 2021 com um protocolo específico para o estudo acerca do racismo religioso estrutural no Currículo Paulista. A pesquisa envolveu uma busca com diversos termos relacionados ao tema, combinados através do operador "AND". Os descritores incluíram questões sobre religiões afro-brasileiras, ensino religioso, reforma educacional, políticas públicas, entre outros. Ao considerarmos o referencial do racismo religioso e estrutural, a intolerância religiosa e a politicidade da educação, os dados da pesquisa revelaram uma escassez de estudos na área da Ciência da Religião voltados para a temática fora do componente curricular facultativo do Ensino Religioso. Essa constatação reforça a importância dos cientistas da religião no contexto educacional, buscando combater as desigualdades e promover um ensino equitativo que atenda às diversas demandas sociais, culturais e religiosas presentes na sociedade brasileira.
