Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan terhadap Pengetahuan Keluarga tentang Pengelolaan Reumatoid Artritis di Puskesmas Wara Selatan Kota Palopo

Abstract
Reumatoid Artritis merupakan pembengkakan pada jaringan ikat, atau bisa di artikan juga penyakit autoimun (penyakit yang terjadi pada saat tubuh diserang oleh sistem kekebalan tubuhnya sendiri) yang mengakibatkan peradangan dalam waktu lama pada sendi penderita, untuk itu perlu perawatan dan perhatian khusus bagi penderita dengan nyeri sendi terutama oleh keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan keluarga tentang pengelolaan reumatoid artritis. Desain Penelitian yang di gunakan adalah Deskriptif. Dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposif sampling. Populasinya adalah seluruh keluarga yang mempunyai penderita reumatoid artritis di wilayah kerja puskesmas wara selatan kota palopo dengan sampel sebanyak 40 orang dan instrument dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Dari hasil penelitian yang didapatkan nilai rata-rata Pre Test pendidikan kesehatan tentang pengetahuan keluarga yang merawat penderita reumatoid artritis yaitu 1,18 dan nilai rata-rata Post Test pendidikan kesehatan tentang pengetahuan keluarga yang merawat penderita reumatoid artritis yaitu 1,90. Hasil uji statistik Paired T test didapatkan nilai P=0,000 karena nilai 0,000 <0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan keluarga tentang pengelolaan reumatoid artritis. Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan informasi keluarga merupakan hal yang harus diperhatikan, namun karena nilai rata-rata Pre Test responden terbanyak memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang karena kurangnya informasi, maka perlu bagi keluarga aktif dalam mengantar keluarganya yang menderita reumatoid artritis ke pelayanan kesehatan atau puskesmas yang jelas bagaimana cara merawat keluarga terutama yang mengalami reumatoid artritis.
