The approaches to NSHMs in different locations are varied and driven by different expertise, different philosophies, different tectonic environments, and different needs of the local communities. Despite the large number of countries facing risks from earthquakes, the community of researchers working on NSHMs is small, and it is to our benefit as a community to learn from each other and to understand approaches other...
