Dans quelle mesure un travail d'dition contribue-t-il faire redcouvrir un auteur ?Le prsent dossier entend s'arrter sur l'vnement que constitue la parution, chez Vrin, des OEuvres compltes de Georges Canguilhem (1904-1995).Figure intellectuelle majeure de la priode de l'aprs Seconde Guerre mondiale, Canguilhem a exerc une profonde influence sur l'enseignement de la philosophie en France.Il est aujourd'hui reconnu, tant au niveau national qu'international, comme un historien et philosophe des sciences mais aussi comme un philosophe contemporain de premier plan.Son oeuvre a fait l'objet de nombreuses traductions, que ce soit en anglais, en espagnol, en portugais, en italien, en allemand, en russe, en japonais 1 De multiples volumes ou numros collectifs lui ont t consacrs depuis une vingtaine d'annes.Un colloque international vient d'tre organis l'universit de Laval 2 au Qubec sur l'influence de Canguilhem l'chelle internationale, dans les domaines de l'histoire, de la philosophie, des tudes sociales, des sciences biologiques et de la mdecine.Un numro spcial va prochainement 1.
