Abstract
Nos últimos anos houve um aumento perceptível nos crimes de natureza financeira e econômica, muitos dos quais tiveram grandes repercussões, tornando mais evidente os delitos feitos por grandes empresas e pessoas importantes no cenário brasileiro. Por isso a área da contabilidade tem chamado bastante atenção por conta da sua atuação nesses casos através de suas ramificações. Neste contexto, foi levantada a seguinte questão: Como a Perícia Criminal Contábil e a Contabilidade Forense podem contribuir com a transparência e eficácia na resolução de conflitos? O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar a importâncias dos profissionais de ambas as áreas conceituando suas funções e fazendo comparações entre elas para assim apontar os instrumentos e métodos utilizados a fim de garantir a maior visibilidade e confiabilidade nestes processos. Caracteriza-se este artigo de natureza qualitativa sendo feita através de uma pesquisa explicativa por meio do estudo bibliográfico em de materiais já publicados sobre o assunto como artigos, revistas, jornais e livros. Entretanto este artigo busca enfatizar os papéis da perícia criminal contábil e da contabilidade forense sendo ambas de grande relevância nos dias de hoje.
