Penelitian ini membahas tentang : penggunaan alat peraga manipulatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas VII madrasah Tsanawiyah Nurunnajah batang hari. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terdapat dalam kelas. Penelitian ini merupakan desain pelaksanaan dua siklus, dimana setiap pelaksanaan siklus meliputi planning (perencanaan), action (tindakan), observation (pengamatan), dan reflectio (refleksi). Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa di madrasah tsanawiyah nurunnajah Batanghari dengan jumlah siswa 22 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian dapat dijelaskan sebagai berikut: sebelum tindakan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 51, dengan 22% siswa yang tuntas dan 77% siswa yang tidak tuntas, kemudian pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa adalah dengan nilai rata-rata 55, dengan 28% siswa yang tuntas dan 72% siswa yang tidak tuntas, pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa 72 dengan 86% siswa yang tuntas dan 13% siswa yang tidak tuntas, dengan demikian penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga manipulatif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di kelas VII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nurunnajah Batanghari.
