Kajian ini adalah untuk melihat implikasi pengajaran dan pembelajaran di rumah (PdPR) terhadap Ujian Akhir Sesi Akademik (UASA) di SJK selepas pasca Pengajaran dan pembelajaran di rumah (PdPR). Ujian UASA ini dilaksanakan kepada murid sekolah rendah Tahap 2 sebagai sebahagian Pentaksiran Bilik Darjah (PBD) yang berbentuk sumatif. Bahasa Melayu wajib dikuasai oleh semua yang bergelar rakyat Malaysia. Namun, tahap penguasaan bahasa Melayu murid sekolah jenis kebangsaan (SJK) kini semakin rendah terutamanya dalam kalangan murid bukan penutur natif yang merupakan bahasa Melayu bukan bahasa pertama. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kualitatif dengan menjadikan protokol temu bual sebagai instrumen utama. Peserta kajian terdiri daripada tiga orang murid Tahun 5 yang bersekolah di sebuah Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) di daerah Melaka Tengah, Melaka. Dapatan kajian mendapati terdapat tematik utama hasil daripada temu bual, iaitu tema (i) Pembelajaran Murid; (ii) Bahan Pengajaran; dan (iii) Infrastruktur. Antara impak PDPR kepada penguasaan murid dalam bahasa Melayu khasnya semasa Ujian Akhir Sesi Akademik yang dilaksanakan baru-baru ini, semua peserta kajian menyatakan tidak dapat menjawab soalan dalam UASA kerana tidak faham akan kehendak soalan akibat penguasaan serta kemahiran kosa kata yang rendah dan terhad akibat daripada pembelajaran secara dalam talian sebelum ini. Oleh itu, kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberi impak yang positif kepada guru, murid dan pihak yang berkenaan dalam usaha meningkatkan penguasaan kemahiran bahasa Melayu murid khasnya murid di SJK.
