Abstract
OBJETIVO: Avaliar a qualidade de vida das pessoas portadoras de doença renal crônica em tratamento dialítico no município de Uberlândia/MG.MÉTODOS: Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, descritiva e de abordagem quantitativa, realizada no município mineiro de Uberlândia. O público alvo foi de 176 pacientes cuja modalidade de tratamento renal substitutiva é a hemodiálise. Para a coleta de dados foi utilizada entrevista estruturada e aplicado questionário sociodemográfico e sobre qualidade de vida do paciente renal crônico – Versão Brasileira do Questionário sua Saúde e Bem-estar – doença renal e qualidade de vida (Kidney Disease and Quality of Life Short Form 1.3 – KDQOL-SF™ 1.3). Os dados sociodemográficos foram resumidos por meio de estatística descritiva. Para a operacionalização da análise, os dados do KDQOL-SF™ 1.3 foram inseridos e analisados no software KDQOL-SF™ 1.3 Scoring Program (v3.0).RESULTADOS: Percentuais inferiores à média do instrumento KDQOL-SFTM, foram encontrados nos domínios: carga da doença renal (48,79%), status de trabalho (25,57%), função física (37,07%) e função emocional (44,89%). Os domínios com melhores resultados foram: função sexual (87,98%) e incentivo da equipe de diálise (82,17%). CONCLUSÕES: A qualidade de vida mostrou-se reduzida nessa população e associada negativamente à carga da doença renal, status do trabalho, função física e função emocional.
