Resumen : El presente artículo pretender reconstruir, a través de la filología lingüística, algunos conceptos clave
\nexistentes en el vocabulario de la lengua zapoteca de Juan de Córdova (1578), para poder aproximarnos, por
\nesta vía, a la educación de los zapotecas y la relación armónica que contiene su cosmovisión con los ecosistemas.
\nAlgunas de estas palabras que vamos a analizar e interpretar son las nociones de cuidado, crianza, enseñanza,
\nmodo de ser, verdad, conocimiento, saber, corazón, palabras, entre otros vocablos, que son importantes
\npara rastrear el contenido conceptual que tiene la cultura zapoteca sobre la educación. Al final, hablaremos de
\nla educación de los zapotecas, como una opción más, entre las 68 lenguas que existen en México, para descolonizar
\nla práctica educativa y abrir los diálogos interculturales con las otras pedagogías del sur global.
