Abstract

Este estudo analisa a eficácia e segurança de abordagens menos invasivas para corrigir a comunicação interatrial (CIA) em pacientes pediátricos, uma condição que pode levar a complicações graves, como hipertensão pulmonar e insuficiência cardíaca. Através de uma revisão integrativa da literatura de 1980 a 2024, o estudo comparou ecocardiografia transesofágica com ecocardiografia transtorácica e avaliou a eficácia de dispositivos de oclusão percutânea. Os resultados confirmaram que as abordagens menos invasivas são eficazes, melhorando a função cardíaca e reduzindo o tempo de recuperação e risco de infecções. A conclusão destaca a importância dessas técnicas no tratamento da CIA em crianças, demonstrando ser seguras e eficazes. Além disso, o estudo aponta para a necessidade de pesquisas futuras para aprimorar essas intervenções e explorar novas tecnologias, como inteligência artificial, visando alcançar melhores resultados clínicos.
