Cette étude explore l’influence des croyances des enseignantes et enseignants des langues additionnelles (Lx) sur la mise en œuvre d’approches plurilingues et inclusives de la diversité linguistique des répertoires langagiers des élèves dans leur enseignement-apprentissage en salle de classe. Elle repose sur une recherche-action (RA), type de recherche essentiel dans la mise en relation entre la théorie et la pratique, utilisant des ateliers de formation pour promouvoir un modèle d’enseignement translinguistique-communicatif. Trois vignettes de personnes enseignantes de français Lx sont présentées et offrent des pistes sur la manière avec laquelle ces croyances peuvent être surmontées en passant d’abord par un travail de conscientisation pédagogique de leurs pratiques. Les principales observations suggèrent le recours à une approche « intermédiaire », impliquant une collaboration étroite entre tous les acteurs et actrices du domaine de l’enseignement de Lx ainsi que des chercheuses et chercheurs universitaires.
