Propriétés psychométriques de questionnaires français sur les croyances après une agression sexuelle

Les personnes ayant vécu une agression sexuelle (AS) risquent de développer des symptômes de trouble de stress post-traumatique (TSPT), incluant des cognitions post traumatiques négatives comme le blâme de soi. À ce jour, aucun questionnaire ne mesurant ces éléments après une AS n’a été traduit ni adapté en français. Cette étude visait à traduire, adapter et documenter des qualités psychométriques des versions francophones de la Posttraumatic Maladaptive Beliefs Scale (PMBS) et du Rape Attribution Questionnaire (RAQ) chez cette population. Par l’envoi de courriels aux membres de l’Université Laval et d’annonces publiées sur Facebook, 440 adultes ayant vécu une AS ont été recrutés. Des questionnaires sociodémographiques et cliniques, la PMBS, le RAQ et six autres sur les symptômes de TSPT, la dépression, l’anxiété et le sommeil ont été remplis. La PMBS et le RAQ ont été complétés à nouveau après une semaine. Les propriétés psychométriques du RAQ et de la PMBS, soit la validité de construit, la cohérence interne et la fidélité test-retest, en général, sont bonnes. Les résultats montrent que les versions francophones des deux questionnaires mesurent les cognitions post-traumatiques et le blâme de soi après une AS et pourront être utilisés en clinique.
