Abstract
El emprendimiento es inherente al ser humano, el hombre siempre se ha visto en la necesidad de hacer cosas nuevas que le permitan sobrevivir, en la actualidad los problemas económicos y la escasez de trabajo han hecho que la población busque otras formas de obtener recursos y a su vez puedan generar su propia fuente de trabajo, en este sentido las universidades juegan un papel importante, al ser formadoras de las nuevas generaciones apoyando en la adquisición de conocimientos, habilidades y visión emprendedora. El objetivo de este estudio consiste en conocer los factores que influyen en la intención emprendedora de los jóvenes en diferentes carreras de la Universidad Politécnica de Guanajuato y la Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas, con el propósito de que la información facilite a los directivos y docentes la toma de decisiones para el diseño de planes de estudio y reestructuraciones curriculares que permitan la inclusión de unidades didácticas en ese sentido, para lo cual se utilizó un instrumento de 50 ítems, aplicándolo a 733 estudiantes. Obteniendo como resultados principales que el factor que principalmente influye para la intención de emprender es la familia.
