Abstract

A saúde mental tem sido um tema amplamente discutido, especialmente no contexto pós-pandêmico. No entanto, o adoecimento psíquico entre estudantes universitários é uma preocupação que antecede esse período. Este estudo visa realizar uma revisão sistemática e bibliométrica das produções acadêmicas relacionadas aos descritores "saúde mental" e "universitários" na base de dados Scopus Elsevier, abrangendo o período de 2014 a 2023. Utilizando metodologias que incluem o aplicativo Zotero e o software VOSviewer, identificamos fatores associados ao adoecimento psíquico e à ideação suicida, bem como programas e estratégias de prevenção e promoção da saúde mental. Inspirados na análise de conteúdo de Bardin (2010), categorizamos os artigos encontrados, destacando a importância de compreender a realidade das instituições educacionais, a prevalência dos fatores de risco e os mecanismos associados ao adoecimento psíquico, além das patologias mais comuns. Essas informações são cruciais para informar o desenvolvimento de políticas públicas e institucionais mais eficazes para promover a saúde mental dos estudantes universitários.
