Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

200. Genetic factors are involved in the prevalence of dystocia, placenta retention and stillbirth of calves, because the incidence in homozygous animals is higher than in other cows. Therefore, the evaluation of the characteristics of breeding bulls is most effective in predicting reproductive pathologies in cows. The material was the data of bulls of the lines: Reflection Sovering 0198998, V.B. Idial, Reflection Sovering 6 and Metza 200. The analysis was carried out on calving in 3482 cows and heifers in 5 breeding enterprises of the Volgograd, Saratov and Leningrad regions. The frequency of eutocia in the studied sample ranged from 32.6% to 50.3%, the lowest percentage was observed in queens of the V.B. Ideal line, and the highest in the Reflection Sovering 6 line. Dystocia in cows and heifers inseminated with sperm from bulls of different lines occurred with a frequency from 31.6% to 49.5%, where the lowest value was in animals of the Metza 200 line, the highest was in individuals of the Reflection Sovering 0198998 line. The lowest percentage of placenta retention was found in representatives of the Reflection Sovering 6 line (15.0%), the highest was in animals of the Metza 200 line (22.1%). The lowest stillbirth rate (1.2%) was recorded in cows and heifers of the Reflection Sovering 0198998 line, the highest (2.3%) — in queens of the Metza 200 line.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
