Abstract
O presente artigo pretende discutir a obra Morte e Vida Severina, de João Cabral de Melo Neto, analisando as possibilidades acerca da construção de um pensamento jurídico voltado à Decolonialidade – do poder, do ser e do saber – mensurando seus possíveis contributos para essa nova perspectiva no que concerne ao Direito no contexto agrário brasileiro. Portanto, a investigação partirá da discussão acerca das representações da questão agrária brasileira na obra literária, de modo que; num segundo momento, se reflete sobre as possibilidades interdisciplinares entre Direito e Literatura numa perspectiva das Epistemologias do Sul para; num terceiro momento, serem debatidas as possibilidades da abordagem Direito, Literatura e Deconialidade, no recorte da obra de João Cabral de Melo Neto. Trata-se de pesquisa investigatória feita através de revisão bibliográfica, utilizando-se do método hermenêutico ricoeuriano conjugada à hermenêutica diatópica boaventuriana cujos resultados serão objetos de uma análise qualitativa.
