importantes para sua história: o Arquivo Edgard Leuenroth (AEL), situado no Instituto de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas da Unicamp, onde encontramos no Fundo Peter Eisenberg uma série de microfilmes relativos às Listas nominativas de habitantes, e outra, dos Registros paroquiais, porém esta última acha-se incompleta.O segundo arquivo fica no Centro de Memória da Unicamp (CMU), local de pesquisa que guarda importante acervo para a história regional, tal como o Arquivo Judiciário da Comarca de Campinas, que é estimado em cerca de 50 mil documentos, que incluem processos de crimes, cíveis, inventários e testamentos, compreendendo o período de 1796 a 1940.O Arquivo da Cúria Metropolitana de Campinas (ACMC) guarda os volumes originais ou em microfilmes dos registros paroquiais de todas as paróquias que fazem parte da arquidiocese campineira.No entanto, a consulta aos documentos não é pública.Em nosso caso, tivemos o aval dos padres Euclides Sena e Júlio Cesar Calusni, que permitiram o trabalho de coleta dos dados.Outro local que preserva informações sobre Campinas é o Arquivo do Estado de São Paulo (Aesp).Nele encontramos os originais das Listas nominativas de habitantes, os Registros dos bens rústicos de 1818, os Registros paroquiais de terras de 1850, além de muitos outros.
