Abstract
Linnéa Aldman holds a Master's degree in Political Science and has extensive experience of carrying out evaluations, assessments and pilot studies within different contexts, such as human rights, gender equality and the empowerment of seldom-heard groups (for example, people with migration, refugee and asylum-seeking experiences).She currently works at the Swedish Family Care Competence Centre (SFCCC/ Nka), where she takes part in carrying out literature reviews and report writing on a range of carers' topics, including carer support and carer leave policies.Camille Allard is research fellow in Sociology at the University of Milan.Her research interests include unpaid care, care ethics, inequalities at work and their impact on workers' health and well-being.Her current research examines how organisations make decisions to invest in health and wellbeing promotion for their employees.Jacquie Eales, as Research Manager of Research on Aging, Policies and Practice (RAPP) in the Department of Human Ecology at the University of Alberta for nearly three decades, bridges research, policy and practice to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults and their family caregivers.Jacquie successfully implements transdisciplinary research projects, working collaboratively with an array of valued partners to ensure research projects are relevant to their needs and mentoring graduate students in the process.She has co-authored numerous academic articles, book chapters and conference papers, including two Top 5 published articles and one Editors' Choice journal article.She is passionate about translating research knowledge into useful formats to facilitate its uptake by policy, practice and community partners.She makes a meaningful difference in her community by serving on the Age-Friendly Edmonton Leadership Table and the Board of Directors of GEF Seniors Housing (2016-22), by championing the Cycling Without Age grassroots programme, and by co-hosting four-generation family suppers every week.In 2022, Jacquie was nominated for a Minister of Seniors Service Award for her outstanding commitment and contribution to Alberta Seniors.
