Abstract
O presente artigo busca analisar o fenômeno da uberização do trabalho no contexto do capitalismo contemporâneo global, marcado profundamente pelo neoliberalismo, que compreendemos aqui como um “novo capitalismo”. Busca ainda entender como a uberização se apresenta no contexto brasileiro e reflete sobre a dimensão do “trabalho digno”. Para isso, apresenta-se cinco histórias de vida de motoristas de aplicativo, realizadas através de entrevistas semiestruturadas, a fim de mostrar a experiência cotidiana e a trajetória de vida, aspectos sociologicamente relevantes para compreender o trabalho uberizado no Brasil. A partir disso, destacam-se recorrências e práticas nos discursos dos entrevistados, nas quais fica clara a ambiguidade da flexibilidade desse tipo trabalho, bem como a sua subjetivação neoliberal. A discussão dos resultados é guiada, especialmente, pelas perspectivas teóricas de Dardot e Laval (2016) e de Richard Sennett (2006, 2015) e trazida para o cenário de classe brasileiro a partir dos estudos de Jessé Souza (2012).
