Modal sosial yang dimiliki masyarakat memainkan peran yang sangat signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengembangan pariwisata, masyarakat dengan modal sosial yang tinggi cenderung lebih aktif berpartisipasi untuk mencapai tujuan bersama, sehingga meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepedulian terhadap pengembangan pariwisata. Kampung Warna-Warni Teluk Seribu merupakan salah satu wisata yang berkembang karena kesadaran masyarakat sekitar akan potensi wilayah mereka. Sehingga, penelitian ini bertujuan ingin mengetahui kondisi dan tingkat modal sosial masyarakat dalam pengembangan pariwisata yang berada pada Kampung Warna-Warni Teluk Seribu. Metode analisis skoring yang dibantu dengan skala likert digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada masyarakat. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa modal sosial yang dimiliki masyarakat Kampung Warna-Warni Teluk Seribu termasuk kedalam tingkatan yang tinggi. Tingginya modal sosial yang dimiliki masyarakat akan meningkatkan partisipasi mereka dalam pengembangan pariwisata.
