Dans cet article, nous rendons compte des pratiques que met en œuvre une enseignante québécoise du secondaire pour enseigner la grammaire de façon critique. Pour ce faire, nous avons recouru à deux outils de collecte de données : l’entretien semi-dirigé, grâce auquel nous avons brossé le portrait général des pratiques de cette enseignante en grammaire, et le récit de pratique, lors duquel elle a narré dans le détail une pratique qu’elle juge pertinente et digne d’être partagée avec une équipe de recherche. Les résultats permettent la description d’un éventail de pratiques d’enseignement grammatical qui s’insèrent dans un paradigme critique. Autrement dit, ils nous amènent à relever des manières concrètes d’amener les apprenant·es à remettre en question le pouvoir qui est fréquemment associé aux normes grammaticales que légitime l’enceinte éducative et à s’engager dans des débats sociaux sur la langue qui, à l’instar de la proposition pour réformer l’accord des participes passés, auront des incidences notables sur eux·elles.
